Fiber Optic Delay Lines / Transceivers
Integrated fiberoptic delay lines incorporate laser diodes, photodiodes, and all associated circuitry to complete a fiberoptic link with user specified time delay duration. The input and output of the integrated delay line is the RF/microwave signal to be delayed. A variety of temporal delays and form factors are available.
Features:
- Up to 110 usec delays available in standalone flange mounts
- Up to 18 GHz microwave bandwidth available in standalone flange mounts
- Up to 2000 usec delays available in 19” 1RU chassis
- Up to 40 GHz microwave bandwidth available in 19” 1RU chassis
Passive fiberoptic delay lines require an external fiberoptic transmitter and receiver, or transceiver, to complete an RF/microwave delay. External fiberoptic transceivers are chosen to meet the requirements of the RF/microwave signal to be delayed. A variety of delay line temporal delays and form factors are available.
Features:
- Up to 110 usec delays available in standalone flange mounts
- Up to 2000 usec delays available in 19” 1RU chassis
- System 10000 plug-in modules available with up to 5 separate delay spools
